Raul Verdugo

Raul Verdugo is seeking your support to become a representative for Arizona’s 7th congressional district. Arizona’s 7th Congressional District comprises six counties: Cochise, Maricopa, Pima, Santa Cruz, and Yuma, and it shares a border with Mexico that stretches for over 350 miles with six ports of entry. This makes Arizona a key strategic point for the United States economy.

As an immigrant brought to the United States at the early age of 9, he developed a love for this nation and its values. Raul completed high school in Nogales, Arizona, 1999 and enlisted with the Arizona Air National Guard before graduation.

For 26 years, Raul Served his country in various mission sets. He served with the Arizona National Guard’s Counter-Drug Task Force for 16 years, where he supported local, state, and federal agencies in combating the flow of illegal narcotics to the United States. In 2017, he was selected to lead a team of 32 members in support of various mission sets such as Food Service, Lodging, Fitness, and Mortuary. In 2019, He was tasked to lead the training management team for 1,600 military members. His last assignment was with the 162d Wing Force Support Squadron, where he led 92 members. During this time, Raul completed two associate degrees with the Community College of the Air Force, a bachelor’s degree in operations management and Analysis, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management with the University of Arizona Global Campus. He will retire from the service in September 2025.

Raul has served in many military roles and collaborated on many projects. He will use his experience to continue serving this nation in different capacities.
